hysterosalpingogram

if anyone of you ever has to have this, i can now emphathise. with a lot of silent prayer, i survived it. twice, because the tube broke 80% of the way into the procedure. but, my uterus is golden. and i'm practically wearing a diaper. is that too much info for blogging?

Oh hon, that sounds like the pits! I looked it up online; no fun at all. I hate being in the hospital, I suppose no one really likes it. Hope everything turns out okay!

Someday, when you have 14 little j & js at your heals, they had better thank you:-)

Oh dear, that is miserable. I never had to have that one exactly, but I've had enough of procedures similar to this to give you many hours of "too much info for blogging". Oh, the joys! So sorry. Glad your uterus is golden. :)

i haven't commented for a while on blog! but... if it's not weird enough that I don't know you, only a friend of yours, i had to comment on this one... you made me really nervous! the 'weird' part is.. I'm having this done in about a week's time. I'm reeeeaally not looking forward to it. But you described it very well. I think. ugh.

jayci - take 800 mg of ibuprofen to help w/potential pain. it's not too bad just crampy, besides my mishaps - broken bubble in the tube and a few long moments of accidental pinching. that was NOT fun. i just kept thinking of why i was doing it, and that helped. just tell them to be gentle and explain everything - mine did and the nurse held my hand while j waited on the side w/an xray jacket on. hope all is well w/your..stuff too! ha

I am pretty sure I have seen these done, back in my working days. Not fun if I remember correctly. Hope you feel better now.
