please keep us in your prayers

jan had 2 interviews this week with the same company and it'll be a week or two before we hear back. it's the best option we have so far. well, and the only one. we'll keep applying if this doesn't work out, but we hope it does! just don't forget us. and little mango. he'll need food and diapers, and i can only provide the first. i just thought i'd put it out to the blogging world that any extra thoughts/prayers would be appreciated!!

you've got it! prayers heading your way. :)

the primrose oil supplements and organic raspberry tea help a LOT apparently with getting things moving.. we'll see. :) You can start taking both at 34 weeks, and work up the dosage.

Evening Primrose Oil (I use Barlean's brand - keep in the fridge). Start with 2 a day, then with every week and a half, add 1 more supplement a day. Right now I'm taking 4 a day. By 40 weeks I'll be taking 5-6 a day. It really helps with getting the cervix elastic-y and soft. I asked the doc/midwife yesterday if she could tell if it was soft and she said "yes! It's very soft" - woohoo!!

Raspberry Tea - I don't know if you like tea, but it's hard for me to drink... especially warm! So I add a T. of sugar then chill after I've mixed it up. yumm!! Tastes like a popsicle. I'm trying to drink it twice a day. But it gets your uterus to have a lot more practice contractions. My cousin swears it works for her!! And I am having a lot of contractions, I just hope it DOES help me go early... :)

I hope this helps!

thanks!! i just did some research on the two too. i hope i can take the primrose orally and not the uh, other way. that might weird me out. i'm assuming whole foods should have this stuff so i'll head there in the next week. it sounds like it'll help tear less, and that is good!

We're cheering for you j! You'll do great! And Julia- you can also look into blue & black cohosh in conjunction with the primrose and raspberry.
