paige & paul

my friends are moving to utah, and i don't want them to go. paige & ronin are only a few months apart and i've been around since paul was born.  the light went down fast, so i just took a couple shots before dinner.  doesn't she have the most amazing eyelashes? 

brother & sister

fingers crossed, these two kids will be adopted into a most loving family this year.  the most adoring parents.  rooms filled with books and toys.  they greeted me with smiles, the older one wondering if he could take ronin to his room and show him all his toys. beautiful, beautiful kids (aren't her eyes ridiculous??). they hugged me and kissed ro before we left, after an afternoon with candy all over their faces and bubbles galore.  i'm excited to hang out again since we are practically neighbors!

editing shoots today. a kids shoot from up north and headshots from last weekend (welcome to LA). busy weeks make me happy.

king family

we went from shooting a standard family portrait, to realizing that this family has way more energy than one photo can handle. meet the kings, my dear friend caroline's family. fun, loving, spontaneous, energetic, and obviously very photogenic. the kids absolutely loved the camera, as you can see. it's not often that an adult (wait, is that me?) encourages any and all behavior, and i think they were willing to run with it for as long as i was shooting. thank you for having me shoot. thank you for dinner. thank you for having cute kids.
