this weekend is m's first birthday and she is just learning to stand on her own (hence the benches and drum). she makes more faces than any baby i know and manages to look adorable with each one. the first outfit is going to make it's debut this saturday at her bday party. it's a black onesie with a tutu and cupcake graphic sewn on. the small paul bathing suit is the gift from j & i, and the dress was just given to mel last week.
i have been friends with this family since before the parents met. this kid has non stop energy. he runs, he throws food, he loves running naked, and he laughs more than any kid i've ever seen. he laughs at people, he laughs at himself....i have loved watching him grow up.
S suprised her husband with a photoshoot for father's day. They are about to move to Switzerland, and Emma already looks like the adorable babies I saw all over Europe. We played with Emma letting her run free and capturing her against her will for some group shots. It's fun to capture the independence at this age. And the coy looks in their eyes as they test how far they can run away before being dragged back to safety. I can't wait to show them the rest of these! (i know i keep saying that, but it's true!)
